Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team at Print Leaf, Maldives' leading print studio. You will create stunning visual designs for various print materials including business cards, brochures, flyers, booklets, and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative and effective print materials including business cards, brochures, flyers, posters, and marketing collateral
• Work directly with clients to understand their vision and translate ideas into compelling visual designs
• Prepare print-ready files ensuring proper color profiles (CMYK), bleeds, margins, and resolution
• Collaborate with the print production team to ensure designs are optimized for various printing processes
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Maintain brand consistency across all client materials and deliverables
• Stay updated with design trends, printing technologies, and industry best practices
• Create mockups and proofs for client review and approval
• Handle file preparation for digital and offset printing
• Contribute to the development of our portfolio and marketing materials

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in print design
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of print production processes, color theory, and typography
• Knowledge of CMYK color profiles, bleeds, margins, and print specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong portfolio showcasing print design work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English and Dhivehi
• Time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large format printing and signage design
• Knowledge of packaging design and dieline creation
• Familiarity with Corel Draw or other design software
• Basic understanding of web design and digital marketing
• Experience in the Maldives market or similar industries
